Stalinist Democrat, a hard left turn

Marie Jon'

April 15, 2007

During the Vietnam era the Democrat Party became hard and strident... millions of innocent Vietnamese people died. The far-left Democrats — who now control Congress — have done it again. They have taken an even harder turn to the left, and no one can seem to reach or appease them.

The Democrat Party's leftward leanings were apparent during those years. The party included anti-war candidates such as Bobby Kennedy, Eugene McCarthy and George McGovern. The congressional Democrats blatantly put a stop to "all aid" to "our allies in southeast Asia."

Congress refused to approve further funding for the war. Their unwise actions forced an end to the Vietnam War. Then Congress both repealed its declaration of war and set a date for the cutoff of additional funding.

President Nixon put an end to the war. He was forced to do so. Considering the lack of support of the Congress and the American people, there was nothing else he could do. On April 30 1970, President Richard M. Nixon went to the airwaves and began his speech with: "Good evening my fellow Americans."

In the 1970's, some Democrats became so enraged that they changed their party affiliation in protest. Some became Republicans. It was due to Jimmy Carter's "blame America" Administration that millions voted for Ronald Reagan. People in the 70's did not want a thing to do with the emerging far Left Democrat agenda. They were tired of hearing that America was to blame for the world's problems.

Before the next national Election Day arrives, every patriotic voter must discern the traitors of our country who are out-and-out obstructionists. The obnoxious, lying accusers of the president have been attacking and maligning President George W. Bush during his entire tenure in office. Their extreme radical behavior is neither excusable nor acceptable. We are at war against terror, not the president.

Many Americans need to revisit history and learn from it instead of revising it. People die needlessly when common sense is not allowed to prevail. Today's Democrats have no moral compass. They show no signs of returning to the party many people felt good about.

It ought not to be surprising that the left in this country can effectively diminish and slander the president along with our troops. They are able to do so because the media is more than happy to help their comrades. They too speak as Stalinist Marxists. Seemingly out of nowhere, there seems to appear a scandal a week as the Left's bosom buddies in the media embellish things which, to most Americans are non-issues, which ends up with another investigatory committee.

It goes without saying that politics is what it is. However, the far Left have soiled the political landscape with the filth of disrespect and lack of civility. Their own politicians are absurd liars. The media tosses about headlines of wrongdoings and corruption. Suddenly e-mail is being examined for high crimes and misdemeanors. If it were not so time-consuming and potentially dangerous, it would almost be humorous, when one considers the source.

In actuality, it is the Democrat Party that is known for its corruption and back room dealings. They have gotten away with all types of scandals. However, there are no headlines blasting away at their bad behavior. The "mainscream media" is leading the charge in pounding the last few nails into the coffin of this embattled administration.

America's president stands alone with the few Americans brave enough to comfort him at this time in history. We need to hold up the president's arms and keep him in our prayers. God help us now, for he was never our enemy.

Excerpts From The Associated Press:

"Democrats: We'll Get Our Way One Way or Another in Iraq

WASHINGTON —

"Democrats know they might lose this month's showdown with President Bush on legislation to pull troops out of Iraq. But with 2008 elections in mind, majority Democrats says it is only a matter of time before they will get their way.

"Senior Democrats are calculating that if they keep the pressure on, eventually more Republicans will jump ship and challenge the president — or lose their seats to Democratic contenders.

"'It's at least my belief that they are going to have to break because they're going to look extinction, some of them, in the eye,' said Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., of his Republican colleagues.

"Added Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.: 'We're going to pick up Senate seats as a result of this war.'

"The House and Senate are expected to negotiate war spending legislation this week. The Democratic proposal would approve $96 billion in military money, mostly for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and set a timetable for troop withdrawal.

"The House wants to end combat operations before September 2008; senators voted to set a nonbinding goal of ending combat by March 31, 2008.

"As the final bill is negotiated, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Reid plan to meet with President Bush at the White House on Wednesday. They are expected to talk past each other, with Bush refusing to negotiate a timetable and Democrats insisting on one.

"'I look forward to hearing how members of Congress plan to meet their responsibilities and provide our troops with the funding they need,' Bush said Saturday in his weekly radio address.

"Bush has pledged to veto the legislation if it sets a timetable on the war or includes extraneous spending, including the $74 million proposed by House lawmakers for peanut producers.

"Republicans have promised to back the president, leaving Democrats short of the two-thirds majority needed to override the veto.

"When Americans went to the polls last November, they did not vote for politicians to substitute their judgment for the judgment of our commanders on the ground,' Bush said." And they certainly did not vote to make peanut storage projects part of the funding for our troops."

The obstructionist Democrats willfully refuse to give President Bush a clean bill to sign and enable our troops to finish the job in Iraq. The Democrat Party has regard for the waste of precious time in a politicized war. They unmercifully hinder America in the War on Terror.

Blame the Democrats for every person who has been murdered, killed, or maimed in Iraq. For it is not the terrorists alone who wreak havoc. Democrats and their supporters have become verbal terrorists by emboldening Iraq's enemies with their defeatist attitude and words that match their irresponsible and despicable mindset.

Rep. John Murtha and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have been happily slow-bleeding our troops for months. Our men and women serving do not deserve the treatment they are receiving at the hands of the ungrateful, overbearing and insolent party.

President Bush demands and pleads for money for our brave troops as the strategic military surge is being waged. The money has not been forthcoming. How dare such arrogance be allowed to continue while our troops are in need?

Along with our troops, brave Iraqi people are dying to protect their freedom. Blame that on the Democrats for tying the hand of success in a newly formed democracy that needs America's help.

Unfortunately for all Americans the DNC has taken that turn to the hard left. They inspire nothing but total disdain, mistrust and disgust. They actually want our troops and our country to lose the war in Iraq. They are abysmally incompetent and not "politically mature" enough to run our country. Now you know who not to vote for in 2008.

President's Radio Address

In his weekly radio address President Bush said, "I recognize that Republicans and Democrats in Washington have differences over the best course in Iraq, and we should vigorously debate those differences. But our troops should not be trapped in the middle. They have been waiting for this money long enough. Congress must now work quickly and pass a clean bill that funds our troops, without artificial time lines for withdrawal, without handcuffing our generals on the ground, and without extraneous domestic spending."

We hope the voters that set this travesty up for the socialists, realize what they have done, and get their heads out of their arses, and vote the right way in 2008. This country cannot tolerate Stalinists and a neutered Constitution .

It is the Democrats who are trying to steal the Presidency, not the other way around as they accused Bush of doing.

If the rats steal the presidency in 08 it is going to be very tough sailing. They will lie, cheat, decieve and probably murder to get more power.
Beware of the dingy dozen.

At the outset of WWII, FDR had the foresight to directly speak with the producer bigwigs in Hollywood. Those people were already anti-American, pro-Germany and pro-socialism.

FDR implored them to drop their anti-American campaign in favor of a ‘support-the-troops’ theme. The result was four years of movies in favor of the U.S. winning the effort, ‘Rosie the Riveter,’ etc. That, of course, was a Democrat speaking to Democrats/Commies.

GW doesn’t have the same opportunity - a Pubbie can’t take tea with Stalinists and hope to reach an amicable agreement.

Gitmo, my brother!!!

We live in tough times, that's for sure. One thing I keep thinking about is our troops, and just good folk who know full well what we face, here, and on the battlefield.

They are our future, and they are not pleased with the Democrats or the media.

If enough of us fight back, in whatever way we can, we've got a future as a free people.

These Democrats sicken me, but they will never be strong, unless we are weak.
