Elizabeth Hasselbeck To Rosie O'Donnell: We'll Talk At 11

Elizabeth Hasselbeck of "The View" is co-hosting "Fox & Friends" This week. And today, when she goes to assume her co-hosting duties on "The View," Elizabeth Hasselbeck is going to have a few choice words for Rosie O'Donnell.

But we'll get to that later. If you recall, cutie Kiran Chetry was canned when the William Morris Agency tried to play hardball with the Fox News Channel. Chetry was axed in favor of Gretchen Carlson.

Fox has been trying to push Carlson (albeit unsuccessfully) ever since Kiran left. They've even tried moving a few other Fox babes into the role as they watched their ratings drop-off.

Don't feel too sorry for Chetry as second-place CNN gobbled up the former Fox beauty, and she's now going head-to-head vs. FOX as the new co-host of CNN's American Morning.

Fox has been making blunder after blunder regarding their once extremely popular morning show. First it was moving E.D. Hill to make room for Carlson and then it was Kiran Chetry.

However, FOX looks to have read the writing on the wall as Gretchen has mysteriously vanished. Allison Camerotta returned to the show last week after being out on maternity leave and after several obvious failed attempts to find a suitable replacement, FOX may have found their girl in Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

Now I don't claim to know anything about Elizabeth's contract but it would seem that she may be planning to jump ship. It's no secret that she's been unhappy in her role on "The View" and at times has been the other three liberal ladies' conservative punching bag......."

IT would be neat if Hasselbeck moves to Fox. It could help to make up for the blunder of moving ED Hill out for Carlson and the bad luck of losing Chetry.

FoxNews is important to consevatives as the one TV news network that is not openly hostile. The rest might as well be PBS outlets.

Hasselbeck would be just one of many “plain Janes” that Fox has tried to use lately. While she sounds assertive on FOX programs, she has been a wimp on “The View” and I certainly don’t think much of her.

She is better than Carlson, unless they bring back ED Hill which would be awkward as hell. With Imus gone this would be a time to make a move or Chetry, now at CNN, will advance at Fox’s expense.

I have to agree. While Elizabeth may be the conservative punching bag on “Rosie’s view from the far left”. she makes it easy for them. She just can’t seem to find her voice, and put together enough words to offer a sensible counter punch.

I don’t know if that would change any even if she did have more control over things.

To be honest, I've never been able to watch more than a minute or two of the view. As a conservative in NYC, I know how difficult it can be sometimes to counter punch when your surrounded, even when you are someone like me who thinks about things like this for a living.

With that said, while she may not be the sharpest with the verbal repartee, legs like those forgive a lot of missed opportunities.

Yep, me too. Having said that, Fox and Friends also makes me sick. That show is BAAAAD. As for Hasselbeck, the few times I've seen her she seems to be quite inarticulate at getting her point across, getting flustered when push comes to shove and quite frankly, I'm embarrassed for her more times than not.

FOX has made some REALLY bad mistakes in personnel.

Their BEST morning anchor was E.D. Hill. Hill was attractive and VERY bright. The others, like Hassekback are minor league players conversationally and mentally.

Hasselback lets that swine O’Donnel run the View and run rough shod over her.Hioll would cut the O’Donnel pig to pieces. Roise is a mental lightweight and a total ignoramus. Even I could a better job than Hasselback managing her.

Gretchen came back yesterday. They said she returned from vacation. I notice she is not on the first hour anymore. I really hope they replace her. She irritates me to no end. Allison would be a great replacement for Gretchen in my opinion.
