A pro-Israel Christian group replaced a photo on its Web site after learning the image was doctored. Christians United for Israel, a rapidly growing evangelical group, had featured on its Web site (www.cufi.org) a banner
showcasing a sunrise panorama of Jerusalem's Western Wall and the Temple Mount area above it.

They should put back the original picture and say that this is a mission statement.
Israel should do as every other nation that has sacred religious sites has done: declare all holy places to be the property of the state.
For too long, religions and other nations have declared that pieces of Israel are “their” property. Just by itself, this has created much contention. They should have no special protection like embassies.
This does not mean that Israel deny access to such places, except to religions and nations that “misbehave” in them.
That is, like every other nation, Israel would control zoning and improvements to holy sites. It could prohibit unlawful sermons that advocated violence and hate. And it could refuse to allow such sites to be used as dwellings or accommodations for caretakers—they can just as easily live in rented apartments or houses like civilized people.
Since many of the fights between groups are based in who “owns” what square inch of a site, access could instead be based on clock time instead of area. Not only would this mean greater access to more pilgrims, having the entire use of a site for a service, but there could also be buffer times to allow for the orderly departure of one group before the arrival of the next group.
And, if say a mosque was managed by Wahabbi extremists, if they misbehaved, Israel could turn over management of that mosque to say, the Sufi Muslims. The threat of doing this alone would do much to reduce friction. Wahabbis would pale at the very thought.
This is funnier than it appears on the surface, since "palestinians" and other arab countries teach school with maps where Israel does not exist...
