Here in California the former disgraced governor Gray Davis was traveling over 100mph when a CHP officer tried to pull him over. The officer was told to move along.

I remember that. Also, Grayout used to use the CHP copter all the time (as does Corzine but it was overcast the day of the accident). As rats, they pretty much get a pass though...
