What’s wrong with doing 90 mph? Last week, I did 180 kph (112 mph) in a van, with my entire family in it.
We escaped unscathed.
If it hadn’t been a POS rental, I am sure I could have done 150 mph.

What’s wrong with doing 90 mph? Last week, I did 180 kph (112 mph) in a van, with my entire family in it. It is not speed that caused the problem here. It was reletive speed that caused the problem. The Governor's vehicle was overtaking slower traffic with a reletive speed of 30 mph. When things started going bad, the hazard closed so fast there was no time to avoid it.
If everybody is moving along a well designed road at 100 mph, things are actually much safer.
