Words fail me. They’re going to nail the TROOPER for not making a 60 year-old GROWN MAN put his seatbelt on? Oh, no, it’s not CORZINE’S fault, it’s the TROOPER’S fault.

...but said a state police review board will decide the trooper's responsibility for both his driving speed and Corzine's failure to wear a seat belt.

Corzine is the victim here!

I heard on the radio that NJ has a law that it's the driver's responsibility to insist that passengers wear seatbelts.

I heard on the same show that Corzine's injuries were largely caused by a piece of guardrail thrusting through the floor of the SUV and that if he had been wearing a seatbelt, he would likely have been sliced in two.

Don't know if it's true -- I heard it on the Howie Carr Show.

Oh, no, it’s not CORZINE’S fault, it’s the TROOPER’S fault.

As far as I can tell, almost nobody is giving Corzine the benefit of sympathy on this matter. If he wants to lose those few who do support him, he should go ahead and blame the trooper.

Even My Favorite Liberal (Mrs. gridlock) is giving Corzine the business these days.

Figures that they’d announce this little detail on the day after the Va Tech killings.

From what I’ve read,Corzine is not too receptive to being told to do ANYTHING.He made the decision not to wear a belt and ordered the trooper to speed.Anything bad that comes his way after that is on him.

Typical liberal mind-set. It's never THEIR fault, blame someone else for their own actions.
