The Bush administration has had its scandals _ conflict of interest, incompetence, influence peddling, political vendettas _ but it's never had a sex scandal. Until now.

And it's a most unlikely Lothario _ World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz.

Al Kamen, Jon Stewart and now this McFeatters guy are all doing laughingstock mockery of the wolfowitz controversy.

What was it the Left said about Clinton? Hey this is private and they were having consensual sex, right? So, if that is okay for the Left wing guys/gals, wouldn’t it suffice to say this is okay for the Righties or anyone else? (quizzical yet sarcastic look)

"Hey this is private and they were having consensual sex, right?"

This isn't about a sex it's about nepotism.

“Hey this is private and they were having consensual sex, right?”

I thought that depended on what your definition of “is” is?

It's about neither. Wolfowitz recused himself when he was hired on, it's all about lying, left wing MSM scumbags. As always.

If he recused himself, how is it he found himself dictating his girlfriend’s illegally exorbitant salary?

"But having a girlfriend on your payroll is a big problem in Washington."

Unless she was a blood relative, nepotism would not be the case. Perhaps cronyism would have been more accurate, and it would depend on if she was there before or after he arrived. That being said, if he arranged to get her transferred from his payroll, to the payroll of a separate organization, then it makes charges of favoritism moot because he has effectively removed her from his "chain of command."

"It's about neither."

That will depend on the facts of the case. From what I know at this point it looks like his biggest mistake was not going far enough in covering his a$$. In politics, sometimes that is enough.

"Okay, class, let us repeat the McKinney Maxim, shall we?"

"It's Not The Facts Of The Case, It's The Seriousness Of The Charge Which Compels Us To Investigate!"

"Very good, class! Now, everyone open your copies of 'Living History', and read page 33.."

Not the way I hear it. You have a source?

The way I heard it is the woman lost her job because they hired Wolfowitz and a committee found her a new job at a higher wage to compensate her for losing her job because her boyfriend was recently hired.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Stop making excuses for this crook.

Wolfowitz is no friend to freedom and US support of Israel. Like Soros and other even loonier types he has (more mildly) put it this way:

“Clearly, one huge factor in our relations with the Muslim world, as well as one of the greatest obstacles to peace in that region, is the continuing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.”

This column is incompetent and thoroughly dishonest. McFeatherhead ignores all the basic facts and documents which have been revealed. The only scandal is the vicious set-up by UN-EU drones at the World Bank who decided to try to do in Wolfowitz. The only mistake Wolfowitz made was not to be more concerned about the fact that said UN-EU drones would be gunning for him, and that he had to refuse to have anything to do with the resolution of the situation.

No, the gifter only had the American Abassador to the UN find her a job that would keep her nearby. The Ambassador even met her for breakfast and put a well known and healed lawyer on the job to find a position to her and x42’s liking. But then democRATS can do what they want and it’s ok.
