Virginia Tech Student Also Lived Through Columbine By Doug Ware - KUTV.com (KUTV) BLACKSBURG, Va. - You can call Mondays rampage at Virginia Tech a massacre, but in the case of one young woman you can call it déjà vu.
Regina Rohde was on campus on the morning of April 16, 2007 as Cho Seung-Hui opened fire on the Blacksburg, Va. Campus, killing 32 people before committing suicide.
She survived.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time she experienced an event of mass murder at an educational institute.
Rohde was also on campus at Columbine High School on the morning of April 20, 1999 as classmates Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris opened fire on the Littleton, Colo. campus, killing 13 people before committing suicide.

Amazing. Poor girl has been through two of the worst mass shootings ever.
Didn’t Couric have the father of a murdered Columbine student on her show not that long ago and suggest his comments might be repugnant to some?
If it were me, I’d get a nice pistol, put it in my purse and tell the VT administration to go to hell if they picked me up for breaking their inane psychobabble rules about a gun free zone.
....third time’s the charm.
Here’s hoping she doesn’t go to work for the post office.
LOL!
Wow, this is a truly morbid coincidence.
LOL! I was just about to post the exact thing.
Studying for a degree in Postal Management, I presume..........
I agree!
I was thinking the same thing...if I were her, I would buy a nice handgun, take target lessons, get a concealed carry permit, and never leave home without it.
Lightning strikes twice. I wonder if that means it’s really safe to hire her or that the laws of probability are convoluting in her presence. Either way, if I was her, I’d buy a gun and carry it everywhere.
To borrow an old joke: Ms. Rohde also responds to the name “Lucky”.
Best watch who you hang out with during thunderstorms.
Wow... last year, when I was in chess club, someone I know told some of his friends to stop picking on a kid and he said ‘my mom always told me to be nice to everyone so Columbine doesn’t happen again’. The kids who was being picked on asked him what Columbine was, and everyone in the room just stared at him in shock, until the teacher who was supervising changed the subject.
She should get a concealed carry permit, and avoid “gun free zones”.
