My Polish grandmother lost her entire family to the ovens.

Sadly, never forget no longer has meaning to many jewish people in the United States.

Mila 18 was one of the most profound books I have ever read.

I read it as a very young man and read again every couple of years.

The book changed my life.

The concept of "evil" was crystalized in my mind

I did the best book reports on Leon Uris in HS. Mila 18 was one of them, great book, I'm going to re-read it now. my sincere sympathy's to all your grandmothers family.

right now I'm taking up the fight against gun control. WWII showed us the worst of guncontrol. it is Beyond my understanding why jewish people will vote for gun control candidates. go figure.
