The Islamic Republic of Irans Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki has said the commonalty of Iran and Venezuela is their resistance against the U.S.
According to IRNA, following his meeting with the Venezuelan Parliament Speaker Sylvia Flores in Caracas, Thursday afternoon, and in an interview with the reporters, Mottaki said Iran and Venezuela are not in war with any state, but they will also not submit to bullying and forceful language.
Mottaki noted that U.S. policies in Middle East have failed, adding that bullying and threatening is no longer effective in todays world and the failed U.S. policies have to change.
The Iranian Foreign Minister congratulated the anniversary of independence of Venezuela to the Venezuelan nation and government and referred to the need to develop Tehran-Caracas relations in different fields, emphasizing that Iran and Venezuela should use all of each others existing capacities.
In an interview with AMTV, Mottaki stressed that by adopting colonial monetary and financial policies, the domineering powers have violated the rights of poor people in Latin America during the previous decades.
