((((((PING)))))
I just heard this run-down on FoxNews.
And I was surprised that the Talking Heads
were surprised (!) about Giuliani being so
far ahead of everyone else in this poll,
especially over McCain. That just tells me
how far off the pulse of the nation these
Talking Heads are! McCain lost his credibility
with the GOP rank and file over that long
time span he played footsey with every
Democrat in the Senate. Talk about your
Rhinos...!
Hey the GOP might nominate their first Catholic candidate.
LOL! Don’t say that too loudly around here! ;-)
Rudy has his faults. Serious ones as a Republican candidate like his views on gun control, homosexuals, illegals, abortion but at least he isn’t a loonie tune like McCain.
Fox News is getting worse every day!
Yes, McCrazy appears to be falling, though not in collapse. Fred T. hanging in at 10-15%, despite not having announced. It will be interesting to see what happens if Newt and Brownback throw in with Fred, and if McCrazy continues to sink.
BTW...what do you think was the reason
Bill Clinton just announced his wife would
be OK if she lost in her bid for the Office?
THEN turned right around and announced in his
“opinion” Algore might just get into the race?!!!
Sounds like a serious pitch for a Clinton/Gore
ticket to me! And here 2 months ago, we were
thinking of a Clinton/Obama ticket from the
Democrat Convention!
One thing about Bill Clinton — the man knows politics every bit as well as Nixon did.
I find this VERY interesting. Bill and Hill might be realizing that she just can’t win the Presidency - the negatives are too high and they are not likely to improve.
No way Hillary is going to run and lose.
Al Gore is their strongest candidate. Pathetic, but true. Who else do they have?
2008 is shaping up to be one of the more fascinating Presidential races in a very long time.
Who else do they have?
Obama. People absolutely love Obama. Many Dims I know loathe Hillary, and are wildly enthusiastic about Obama.
He’s raising more money than Hildebeast, has much higher favorables, and his name recognition is rapidly spreading.
We’re headed out for the day with our CT friends, but I can see the mantra that Rudy is slipping in the polls has been unproven.
Maybe that’s the answer - Bill and Hill would prefer Gore to Obama for whatever reason.
I think there is a chance that Obama is this cycle’s Dean — lots of publicity, moeny, popularity, committed young volunteers (possibly including my clueless college-age daughter) — but I’m not sure success in 2007 will be followed by votes in 2008.
Nah, Sam Brownback doesn't have a chance and neithe Jeb nor Santorum are running.
LOL! I posted 4 polls, Fox News, Harris, and two strategic Vision polls (one for PA and one for MI). Rudy is leading for all of them. Have a great time today.
You could be right. Dean attracted early and very intense support, which then vanished after The Scream. But Obama seems less likely to pull a gaffe like Howie. He’s pretty slick.
I agree that Obama is much less likely to die by the gaffe. His problem is that politically he’s a lightweight. There’s just not that much there — it’s all image and very little substance.
That PING list is getting a little bit shorter there, eh A51? ROFL
“It’s all image and very little substance.”
When has that ever bothered Dim voters?!
