Apparently prompted by the murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, a group is planning a rally in Knoxville to protest crimes against white people by black people.
According to special events and parade permit applications filed with the city, the rally would be held June 16 in front of the old Knox County Courthouse.
The applications were filed by Ken Gregg on behalf of the "ABC Group."
The applications - neither of which may be required, according to city and Public Building Authority officials - describes the planned event as a "peaceful protest against black crime on whites."

As to why this story hasn't received more publicity from the normal news cycles is puzzling.
Mods, I looked to make sure that Knoxnews.com was not a prohibited site. I excerpted it to be on the safe side, even though the site isn't on the excerpt list.
I hope this thread doesn't get pulled as well.
My, my, my....how un-PC.
I never saw the other thread, but It might have gotten pulled because some FReepers may have violated TOS in their posts.
Whenever a topic like this comes along, some folks can’t find socially acceptable ways to express the anger and resentment.
Why do you say "as well"? Was there some previous, related thread that was pulled?
Call NBC MSNBC, they’ll want to run with this one. /sarc
NOw that I have read the article, and see that what appear to be white supremacist groups are integral to the story, the Mods may have made a decision to kill the story to avoid tainting Free Republic. Just a guess.
I certainly would not participate in a rally with links to a white supremacist group. People are free to do so, but I would decline.
Yes, the admin comment on the pulled thread stated 'you know not to post links from there',. That thread actually didn't have a link, I seem to remember but someone else linked to knoxnews.com in the comments.
I think its great...
But then again, I am white so it doesn’t matter what I think. I must constantly apologize for being born white.
I’m sorry, take my paycheck.
I’m sorry, take my job.
I’m sorry, have my house.
Take everything that I got up off my lazy arse and worked for.
I will go sit in a corner now and curse my ancestors.
Well, that would certainly explain the reason for it to be pulled.
In this case, I believe the story warrants discussion, both the root item and this resulting protest.
Good luck to this rally, but sadly, whether “white supremacist groups” latch on to them or not, I doubt they will get any respect or sympathy. Which, of course, is a big part of the problem in the first place.
Any complaint or protest against non-white on white crime is in and of itself racist. Just ask Al or Jesse or the Beast or any of the Dem. leadership or, unfortunately, many of the Rep. leadership. They’ll tell ya.

Delving deeper into the story you find out they poured cleaning solvent in her mouth to get rid of any traces of DNA, and cut off her breast while she was still alive.
You have to search the extent of what was done to both Newsom and Christian somewhere other than FR. The torture and rapes they both endured is monstrous.
Just to compare this “Racial” crime to the other racial crime, do a google search with:
Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom vs Duke Rape...tells a story on Media reporting.
Quality reprorting here. Good links there too.
But be warned, reading this will make you angry. It’s that bad.

Past time to heat this story up.
Here's what Wikipedia has on them.
