A Moment of Silence [OBAMA DEPRAVITY!]

....a speech that Barack Obama made in Milwaukee just hours after the massacre. It must be heard to be believed. After deploring and expressing grief about the shootings, he continues (my transcription): "I hope that it causes us to reflect a little bit more broadly on the degree to which we do accept violence in various forms. . . . There's also another kind of violence . . . it's not necessarily physical violence."
What kinds does he have in mind? First, "Imus and the verbal violence that was directed at young women [of Rutgers]. . . . For them to be degraded . . . that's a form of violence. It may be quiet. It may not surface to the same level of the tragedy we read about today and we mourn." Good to know that Don Imus's "violence" does not quite rise to the level of Cho's.
Second, outsourcing. Yes, outsourcing: "the violence of men and women who . . . suddenly have the rug pulled out from under them because their job has moved to another country."

The depravity of Obama, in posturing about a foolish moral equivalence between the Virginia Tech massacre and the Don Imus quote, is beyond belief (except to squalid leftists who constantly do throw around such imbecilic statements). No, Obama, there is NO relevant comparison to be made between the massacre of 32 innocent people and some insensitive words by a talk show host about a basketball team. None whatsoever. Also, to rail against "outsourcing" in this context is fatuous and fraudulent. Obama shows the true deranged colors of the Demagogues. His words should become FAR more controversial than what Imus said, but of course the MSM will try hard to ignore it and give him a pass.....

When John Edwards made his comment in 2004 about how Christopher Reeve would have walked again if he and John Kerry were elected, that was the lowest, most disgusting display of exploiting a death to pander for votes that I had ever seen.
Well, I think Obama just topped him.

Obama's far from the only nutty leftist blathering about fatuous comparisons and squalid moral equivalence..... the Dept. of English website for VT, where Cho learned all sorts of nutty pc-leftism, already trivializes the massacre by trying to make inane comparisons:
http://www.americanthinker.com/printpage/?url=http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2007/04/was_cho_taught_to_hate.html
What's the English Department's official frontpage reaction to the murder of thirty-two students just a few days ago? Here it is.
"We do not understand this tragedy
We know we did nothing to deserve it But neither does a child in Africa
Dying of AIDS Neither does the baby elephant watching his community
Be devastated for ivory
... Neither does the Mexican child looking
For fresh water ... Neither does the Appalachian infant killed
By a boulder
Dislodged Because the land was destabilized"

They are Nikki Giovanni’s idiotic words, comparing the VT massacre to a baby elephant’s plight (guess we know how she thinks about humans, no more eviiilll “speciesism” so it must be that any slaughter of animals is morally equivalent to the VT massacre):

Did a native born US citizen have their seat at VT taken by a legal alien, Obama? (I don’t know exactly what his legal status was.)

"...was Cho taught to hate? Whatever he learned in his classes --- did it enable him to rage at his host country, to hate the students he envied so murderously? Was he subtly encouraged to aggrandize himself by destroying others? Was his pathology enabled by the PC university? Or to ask the question differently --- was Cho ever taught to respect others, to admire the good things about his host country, and to discipline himself to build a positive life?
And that answer is readily available on the websites of Cho's English Department at Virginia Tech. This is a wonder world of PC weirdness. English studies at VT are a post-modern Disney World in which nihilism, moral and sexual boundary breaking, and fantasies of Marxist revolutionary violence are celebrated. They show up in a lot of faculty writing. Not by all the faculty, but probably by more than half.

I don’t know if he is a classic demagogue or just a man in waaaay over his head. I don’t understand his appeal at all — except as a hero to fools.

Finally, the emptiness of Obamas brain is reviled.
And I just got done yesterday posting about how Obama would be a more dangerous opponent than Hillary in the general election.
Thanks for making me look dumb, Barak. I'll take comfort that I don't look as dumb as you.

Generally a good article, but I don’t think deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill was exactly a “trade-off” made with “open eyes”, but rather a product (yet again) of left-wing judicial activism and slimy plaintiffs’ attorneys whose net effect is to turn our streets into our asylums. Excuse me, but my right to live trumps that of some lunatics’ to howl at the moon and wander the streets, campuses, etc., raging until he finally “snaps”!

Demagogue was also the word that came to my mind.

This wasn’t just innane comparisons. If you watch the convocation, the woman at the end who read the poem on stage, Giovanni, wrote it also.
