Female suspect arraigned in Channon Christian, Chris Newsom murders
Last Updated: 4/18/2007 1:13:35 PM

Vanessa Coleman was arraigned in Knox County Criminal Court Wednesday for the murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom.
Coleman appeared before a grand jury on indictments that included aggravated rape and first degree murder.
Coleman is the only woman charged in the case, and the last suspect to be arraigned. She was arrested in Kentucky, and unsuccessfully fought extradition.
Coleman is charged in the murders, along with Lemaricus Davidson, Letalvis Cobbins, and George Thomas.
All four are scheduled to be back in court May 17 for a status hearing.

Holy crap. I hadn't heard of this crime. It's so sub-humanly brutal as to be unbelievable. It sounds so much like an urban legend I actually double-checked its authenticity.

It’s probably the county where Knoxville is located. Home of the University of Tennessee.

I know, I’m sorry it’s so disturbing. They found Chris’ body parts in five different garbage cans.

No, it's real. A horrible crime done by dim witted denizens of the 'hood.
Does Tennessee have the death penalty?

The media is, rightly or wrongly, trying to suppress white outrage about the crime.
Think about it. All it takes is one incident like this to throw Sharpton’s and Jackson’s credibility into the toilet, where it belongs.
I’ll believe the black whiners ONLY when they can make intelligent statements about things like this and get media attention.
Until then, whether you want to call it a conspiracy or not, there’s obviously one hell of alot of butt kissin and mutual back scratchin goin on!

To be totally honest - and I'm not wanting to start an argument here - I don't find the Virginia Tech murders half as disturbing as this story.Cho's situation at least makes some sense: one nutjob with the right equipment going into a killing ground where no one can defend themselves and killing 32 is shocking - and incredibly sad - but not unbelievable.
But this....this was a group of people engaging in unbelievable cruelty. I don't even want to think about it.
To: csvset
Expect the defense to claim that their clients all have low IQs and therefore are too dumb to die via execution. The Supreme Court made that ruling to protect themselves from execution should one of them commit a murder. Afterall, Justice Stephens ruled that carbon dioxide is a pollutant when it isn't. That's a pretty retarded opinion and if he had any intelligence, he'd be ashamed to write it.

I don't find the Virginia Tech murders half as disturbing as this story. For good reason.
It is a good deal more disturbing if you ask me.
....this was a group of people engaging in unbelievable cruelty
A few years back a couple of towns over a young woman was murdered in her apartment by another young woman she had befriended. Motive?
The killer wanted the other young womans baby. So she murdered her and cut the still living fetus out of the victims body as she was dying.
Some folks just need killin'....

This is truly Satanic. Those poor young people!
Well, as far as how the criminals could do such things, old Buddha weighs in with this:
176. For one who falsely speaks,
who disregards the Dhamma (Buddhist Law of Love and Compassion),
who other lives denies:
no evil this one will not do.

Here's a link to the case where the USSC determined that low witted killers are a protected class.
Atkins v. Virginia
The killing took place not too far from where I live.
In the bank ATM video, you can see the fear in Airman Nesbitt's eyes, as the scumbags had a gun stuck against his side. A pox on those bastards that call themselves "justices".

For over a year we’ve been hearing about three white lacrosse players raping the stripper. Of course it never happened, the stripper was lying. In the same city a white girl was raped at a black fraternity party and there’s been no media coverage.

Yeah, I saw a freerepublic thread about Channon Christian pop up in google alerts but it was pulled with the comment “No thanks.” I did a search here and amazingly this is the only story. If you want to know anything about this crime, you have to search google for Channon Christian. It’s far worse than anything that happened to James Byrd but you’ll never hear about it from the national media and sadly it’s even being cleansed from freerepublic.
To: Verax
Funny that we don’t hear anything about these absolutely horrendous murders on Greta, Geraldo, Nancy Grace, etc.
Wonder what Al Sharpton has to say about his people who participated in this crime?

It just says “No thanks”. Here’s the summary given by the google alert:
News Blackout Conundrum (Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian)
This vanity is about double standards. I only hope it doesn’t get pulled because of it’s content. It isn’t race baiting or bigoted, but there’s no way to not appear racist and bigoted when talking about this subject. ...

I just found and posted one National Review (
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1821414/posts?page=1 story that talks about this crime, and it also points out the double standard in media reporting.
I have no reason to think the National Review article will get pulled. Maybe when this first came up the mods thought it was a fringe hoax or an unsubstantiated report or something. It sure sounds like an impossibility on first hearing, that's for sure.

If people would only garland their heads with flowers, drape their bodies in diaphanous gowns, gather daisies and place them in a wicker basket, then bound towards the perps scattering the flowers. Kiss them on both cheeks, release them immediately, put them on the talk show circuit, give them a movie contract and finally public office. Then they can retire on a taxpayers pension, pass away peacefully and go sit on the right hand of the good lord-as someone in Ohio forgave them. Later they will come again and judge the quick and the dead. (Such is life in America 2007 A.D.).

For those wanting to get some wheels under this story I might suggest that you limit your posts to "news". Obviously there could be other components to the issue, but sometimes "less equals more", if you know what I mean.
Search sites like Google/news (that's where I found the article for this post)
