I just found and posted one National Review (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1821414/posts?page=1 story that talks about this crime, and it also points out the double standard in media reporting.

I have no reason to think the National Review article will get pulled. Maybe when this first came up the mods thought it was a fringe hoax or an unsubstantiated report or something. It sure sounds like an impossibility on first hearing, that's for sure.

If people would only garland their heads with flowers, drape their bodies in diaphanous gowns, gather daisies and place them in a wicker basket, then bound towards the perps scattering the flowers. Channon Christian was a senior at the University of Tennessee. Her boyfriend was probably a student as well.

For those wanting to get some wheels under this story I might suggest that you limit your posts to "news". Obviously there could be other components to the issue, but sometimes "less equals more", if you know what I mean.
