If I’m not mistaken, Washington state has a referendum ballot. Just put a repeal of this on the 2008 general election ballot and watch the church-going conservatives turn out.

Could put this state’s electoral votes in play. The same thing may be going on in Oregon.

That will happen along with Fraudorie losing badly in her re-election.
There still is hope for this state.

Many conservative leaders in Washington have already said they’re not even going to try to get this overturned at the ballot. Last year, they couldn’t even get enough signatures to get a measure on the ballot to overturn the new gay anti-discrimination law. They don’t think it’s worth the time and money to try to overturn this one after their failed attempt this year. That’s what I’ve read in the local rags; sorry I don’t have a cite for you.
