There has been plenty of controversy regarding Muslim cab drivers and their refusal to drive certain passengers, including those with service animals. Now, in hopes of making amends, many drivers are offering free rides to attendees at a local blind conference.

They told the cabbies to pound sand! They just want to be treated like everyone else. Didn't want or expect free rides or special treatment.

What do you do if you need a cab, and you’re blind drunk?

I heard on an earlier report that CAIR notified the media about this move BEFORE they notified the blind conference participants.
Typical CAIR bs propaganda move.

Two precepts to be gleaned here...
1) Islam mutates like a virus and adapts to local conditions, usually on the advice of legal council.
2) They’ve figured out that saying “sorry” works almost every time unless you’re Don Imus.

Well, the airport commission denied the private prayer room inside the airport, as well as ruling that cabbies have to transport the handicapped with service animals and people transporting alcohol.
And now, even the blind can see through their smoke screens.

Big deal what happens when the conference is over??
If I would be living up there and a member of MAC I never would have given them the grace of progressive fines.
Refuse a passenger you are banned from carrying passengers.

Oh, and in answer to your query, of course you have to pay. You're not a simpering sycophant.
