I am not interested in picking a fight with anyone but the tendency to attach labels to any candidate we don’t like is troublesome. The word “socialism” has a well known definition and there is nothing that I know of that suggests that Mayor Guilani is a socialist based on his actions as a public servant in New York.

I wish that there were a Ronald Reagan out their to lead the conservatives but unfortunately I have not seen anyone who can fill his shoes. In the absence of perfect, we need to find good and get him elected. An economic conservative who is strong on defense is not a bad place to start. Truth be known, the President can’t do much about abortion, prayer in school, etc. other than appoint good Supreme Court Justices.

Truth be known, the President can’t do much about abortion...other than appoint good Supreme Court Justices.

One of the most destructive and murderous lying myths being propagated today.

The moral equivilent of, in 1860, saying, "Truth be known, the President can’t do much about abortion, prayer in school, etc. slavery other than appoint good Supreme Court Justices."

Yes, I wish there would be Ronald Reagan. There is not. This in house fighting is not worth it. It will not help. We lost some good conservative Freepers. We have to win for our Troops. So the treason and the policies of the left do not win. If that happens, sorry to put it bluntly, we are screwed.

"The word “socialism” has a well known definition and there is nothing that I know of that suggests that Mayor Guilani is a socialist"

The word “socialism” fits perfectly when a man willingly allies himself with socialist causes and becomes an activist for their UnAmerican activities. Hint, look into who’s really backing NARAL, Planned Parenthood, NOW, all these gay/lesbo groups, Gun control, illegal alien pushing groups and antiwar groups marching on Washington. Look who these socialist cause groups march in lock-step with: International Answer, World Workers Party, etc. Who backs them: George Soros, Ted turner, et al, and the dregs of the liberal/socialist democrat caucuses in our congress -— and Rudolph W. Giuliani himself.

Why is that? He marches with them, celebrates with them in their ever advancing victories over decency and freedom, attends their functions and speaks before them, sits in on their board meetings, writes and publishes congratulatory letters to them as they trample on America and our unalienable rights, and works to advance their socialist causes.

He’s a prime mover and shaker for the very socialist groups that are destructing religion in America and destroying the very moral fiber of our free society. Just this week the socialists passed a bill criminalizing pastors who dare preach the Word of God from the Holy Bible against homosexualism as a sin. Thought crimes! Thank you Rudy for helping the socialist gay agenda stick another dagger into the back of freedom of speech, freedom of religion.

Let’s face it, he’s an ally of our socialist enemies and therefore an enemy of conservatism and freedom. You’re either with us, or you’re with the enemy. Socialism is the enemy. Read up on Reagan’s thoughts regarding socialism vs freedom.

Why would we possibly want to elect a man to the presidency when he’s an advocate for socialist backed America destructing societies? That’d be like throwing open the gates to the city for the enemy.

Both Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson can fill Reagan's shoes (or at least come closer than anyone else).

As far as Rudy goes, he is TO THE LEFT of both Tom Daschle and Dick Gephardt. I can only imagine how long Jim would allow someone to stay here if they were openly suggesting that we should vote for Daschle and Gephardt.
