Listen, I'll take the complement. I really appreciate it.
But for Gods sake man, does it really take 3,000 plus posts to argue about whether or not to support a guy who is diametrically opposed to everything the founder of this board stands for?
What is that?
Even if you have to move your lips as you read it, the FR Homepage can't take more than a minute or two to struggle through. Hell, there aren't even any really big words on it.
Anyone who actually reads the words posted there and then wanders in spouting off how Giuliani is the best thing for America since sliced freaking bread deserves every single bit of opprobrium we can heap on their vacuous little heads.
Until such time as Jim changes the stated goals and directions of this forum, people need to respect the fact that Giuliani and the ideas he represents are unacceptable around here.
They're free, for now anyway, to start their own forums promoting their guy. At least until their guy Rudy is running things. He seems to have a problem with the free exercise of political speech.
But what they aren't, or at least shouldn't be able to do in my view, is come into someone elses house and start mouthing off to the guy who owns the place and telling the other invited guests that they're duty bound somehow to support someone who doesn't seem to agree with one single fundamental principle they hold dear.
That's crap.

Yes, FRiend. That is total crap! Were these people raised by wolves? My mother would have slapped me up one side and down the other if I tried that. And I'd have deserved it. But she taught me better than that. If I don't like the rules of the house, as a guest I'm free to leave. I happen to like it here. And the more JR stands up for and speaks out about the conservative values we share, the more I like it.
BINGO! LOL
What about long-time freepers who pay money to help support the site? We're not allowed to voice our opinions anymore, especially if they are dissenting? Or stop posting at all in case someone doesn't like what we wrote and we get banned?
I've seen it happen to a LOT of old-timers in the past couple of days, and it's disturbing.
