Edwards doesn’t have a chance of a snowball in you know where of EVER winning the presidency. Pbttttt. A big raspberry in his general direction for spitting on our government and our troops with his Harry Reid-like comments.
“Edwards doesnt have a chance of a snowball in you know where of EVER winning the presidency.’
No, but he wouldn’t turn down being on a ticket as a VP candidate.
“Edwards told Democrats it was a mistake on his part to vote to authorize the war in Iraq when he was a member of Senate. “I have to live with that,” he said.”
So, he was FOR the war and now AGAINST the war AFTER he VOTED FOR the war.
The reasons to be FOR the war remain the same and more important that ever to complete the job because we are WINNING.
He makes me sick ... wants people to feel sorry for his flip flopping around.
Didn’t those who now support the cut and run strategy vote for the war?
He doesn’t stand a chance of VP either...too many ‘better’ candidates out there than him.
Though he may still win “Best Hair Award of Election ‘08”! ;-)
Oh, yes, he would indeed turn down a VP offer. He said so. And, his ego is about the size of Canada.
Drudge is reporting that Albore’s people are meeting to assemble his campaign. That leaves Edwards out. Hillary’s the woman (maybe), Barry Obama is the black man, Richardson is the hispanic, Gore is the earthsaver, and that makes Edwards THE LAWYER?
“Oh, yes, he would indeed turn down a VP offer. He said so. And, his ego is about the size of Canada.”
Said the same thing in 2004. Or was that a different John Edwards?
“US Army Corp of Engineers finishes Detroit River rerouting around Wayne County. Detoliet is now part of Canada.”
Did he get his hair done and a facial first. Hope he did the hairdresser and the facial people need extra money for the weekend.
“Didnt those who now support the cut and run strategy vote for the war?”
YES!
They had the SAME infomration as BUSH and voted FOR the war.
I’m calling for Edwards to leave the US.
I could not understand the Democrats wanting our military to lose in Iraq. I just could not decipher their reasoning. I mentioned my bafflement to my sister.
She said, “Well, think about it. Most of the military votes Republican.”
Now I understand. The Democrats are trying to eliminate as many Republican votes as possible by encouraging the enemy.
Last time, he handled it adroitly. “Does he want to be Vice President,” he said, speaking of johnkerry. This time, he gave a qualified response. He said he has done that, it is not his schtick. That, the experience he’s had running for VP, and the fact that he really has a very robust opinion of himself (one that none of us share) make it clear that he thinks he’s ready for prime time.
If he loses the primary and odds are he will, if one of these candidates asked him to be on the ticket he will.
The way politics is today, the “one bullet away from the whitehouse” has been changed to “one scandal away from the whitehouse.”
