Always curious why these terrorist documents start off with “In the Name of God the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate?”

They might as well say “Attention we have hijacked the Islamic religion”

Don't they realize that this type of statement is going to make it harder winning over the hearts and minds of our enabling liberals that only believe in their agenda not God?

I guess it doesn't matter anyway because it appears they already have an unholy alliance as David Horowitz has suggested.

Not only that but also there are a lot of Saddam regime documents that add additional Koranic verses to their letter header. Saddam the secular? Only in left wing lunatic liberal minds.

I always assumed that it was a sign of respect to keep the writers out of the shredder, along the lines of all the men there sporting Saddam mustaches as a show of deference.

On the other hand, it is interesting to compare that salutation with a lot of western writing that includes "In the year of our Lord..."
