Good news. Things are looking up for the Marines. This is right out of a Kafka novel or the USSR. It’s so ludicrous and unreal that it might be funny if lives didn’t hang in the balance.
In a nutshell, the case exploded when an intelligence officer dropped a bombshell on prosecutors during a pre-hearing interview when he revealed the existence of exculpatory evidence that appears to have been obtained by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and withheld from the prosecutors.
This officer, described by senior Marine Corps superiors as one of the best and most dedicated intelligence officers in the entire Marine Corps, was in possession of evidence which provided a minute-by-minute narrative of the entire day’s action — material which he had amassed while monitoring the day’s action in his capacity as the battalion’s intelligence officer. That material, he says, was also in the hands of the NCIS.
I’m f’ing ready to demand resignations of a whole lot of people in uniform and otherwise.. Do oaths mean nothing anymore?
This BS we witness daily is enough to make a hyena gag.. and that takes some doing.
So NCIS Nifonged their arses? Keelhaul them!

Thank you for posting this, jazusamo. I’ve contributed several times, plus sent up numerous prayers for these fine men and their families. I hope that they will be compensated for this travesty on their lives. I also can’t help but wonder if Murtha didn’t play a larger part in this than meets the eye, including a connecction with the leaks from the Pentagon. Just a thought.
Couldn’t this be put into Front Page or Extended News?
If this is true, maybe the prosecutors need to be disciplined and drummed out of the legal profession, like Mike Nifong hopefully will be.

It’s anybody’s guess as to how deeply murtha is involved in this but he is definitely involved. My own personal opinion is it’s deep.

We believed in these Marines from the start. The prosecution reminds me of having Nifong-type tactics. God Bless our Military and God Bless America.

It’s a funny system. The prosecutors are military JAGs but their police force, the NCIS, is civ. Regardless, any prosecutor’s case can be undermined by unethical investigators—which may be proven to be the case here.
I can’t think of anything to say.
