Gun laws to the law abiding are harrassing taxes.

I predict Huckabee will get more votes from the 2nd amendment rights folks. :)
But I’ll be voting for Duncan HUNTER, another strong 2nd amendment rights candidate.

Geeze...a National Guardsman at Logan Airport taught me in October 2001 that one mustn't take fingernail clippers on an airplane.
One would think that a son of a Presidential candidate would know that you don't take a firearm on a plane.

.40 cal Glock with a spare mag. Sounds like he just came from the range.

Maybe I'm not reading this right. It seems to say that he was arrested, pled guilty and got a year's probation all on Thursday?
What a busy day!

Huckabee got a one-year suspended jail sentence and 10 days of community service. He will be on probation for a year.
Fines and costs totalled $855.
And loss of his CCW permit.

After all the security measures, I learned keep my gun stuff away from my traveling stuff. That includes clothing and shoes.

He probably should receive a harsher sentence for being stupid.

That is the problem with “lookalike luggage”; sometimes you check the WRONG pieces. The stuff you meant to carry-on is headed for the Cargo Hold. You are toting stuff that shouldn't’t be in the Cabin.

These articles, including the VT saturation coverage, endlessly refer to a semiautomatic pistol magazine as a “clip”.
I don’t want to shoot with anyone who doesn’t know the difference between a clip and a magazine.

The words have almost become interchangeable. It is good to know the difference, eh ?
To: Cornpone
It probably doesn’t apply here, but I heard rumor of a Federal CC Permit several years ago. Aparrently these are VERY hard to get and held almost exclusively by Congresscritters and their buddies. The word I heard is that with one of these you can carry ANYWHERE, even on planes and such. Is it possible that his permit was one of these and the guy that busted him didn’t realize that he was covered by it and the “best PR” way out was to quickly “ajudicate” the mess so it would go away?

LOL! Who's that nekkid guy shooting on the 25 meter lane? Oh, that's Shooter 2.5, he's flying tomorrow. An image I could've lived without. Blackbird.
