Rudy was not great ... he was spectacular ... in message ... in getting attention ... in almost overnight forcing the reporters to press down on the Dems

I hate to disagree with the headline, but I think Gravel (my favorite Dem. candidate EVER) dominated the night.
I am sending money to his campaign tomorrow and I urge all of you on FR to do the same.
Folks, not to be too technical about it, SEN. Gravel is bat sh*t crazy and he needs to be heard.

I was listening to a reporter brag how he was directly responsible for exposing the mass murders of Vietnamese by Cambodians when Cambodia was finally pulled into the Veitnam conflict. While certainly being responsible and effecting the supposed halting of mass murders is admirable it gave me some insight into the liberal mind. First - they believe that that is an example of diplomacy in action - they exposed the activity and the Cambodians, being reasonable, stopped. They, of course, did not stop the ethnic cleansing going on in Vietnam - they just happened to expose it and stop it temporarily at best. This guy really believes, 30 years later, that he truly did something monumental. It’s amazing how they will gloss over the reality that their diplomacy stopped nothing.

Exactly. No Dem is worth even considering for Commander in Chief. They are all a bit of Quisling, socialist, pacifists that are behaving more like France than France.

Sounds like it is all BS posturing. Their goal of today’s act was to take the Iraq war off the table for the 2008 election (as in they won’t have to “make policy”, of course they WILL but they can deny it on election day).
