Well then, my money’s on Marty Meehan. A google search brings up a number of articles where Meehan is defending and/or standing with Murtha. Was even one of his strongest supporters to be majority leader.

Tis late. Hard day at work, finishing at 11PM. But I have read through this article. Surely all indicators are the prosecution will have no case no matter how hard they try to gloss over all their badly assembled information.
With the Intel officers minute by minute datebase, all the irregularities in the NCIS data gathering and interogation process, and the missing forensics etc., there is no way any of the Haditha Marines can get court martialed.
The right thing for General Mattis to do at this point is tell those powers that be all the cases should just be dropped, because it will only add to more heartache for the Marines in question and their families where no wrong was committed to begin with.

WHAT'S IT TO YOU, FATHEAD? I continue to believe that is a great title. When the "fatheads" realize this sales will soar and the Jazusamo family and I will be found sipping green tea on some beautiful island. Then you will wish you had helped. ;*)
BTW, how come all the good stuff happens on Fridays? I'm always playing catch up and failing miserably!

I find this idea of a virtual forensic autopsy quite curious. There is such a thing as a “virtual autopsy” but is not done in the manner the NCIS has attempted. From this site , “Forensic radiology makes virtual autopsy a reality”,
http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2003-12/rson-frm112403.php
the article describes one of the latest techniques in radiologic imaging technology being used in forensic science to provide a bloodless, minimally invasive method to examine victims. “Virtual autopsy combines computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging.”
The only problem here is the “virtual autopsy” still requires a body for CT and MR scanning. The NCIS had no bodies to use. Sounds like NCIS is trying to pass off their “autopsies” as valid using the same name. NCIS used pictures of some of the victims (not sure whether they are valid or not) and looking at the scene of the killings some 4 months later. I doubt there is much scientific background to validate using these techniques.

....”when General Hagee visited Camp Pendleton about a month after his meeting with Murtha to address the Marines on Marine core values he ordeed that K Comany, 3/1 Marines be excluded from the speech.”...
Red, any speculation why Hagee would exclude Kilo Company from his core values speech? This is strange.
