Hate to disagree. If lives of American soldiers take second place to political infighting, why do you think Washington will care about Judge Roy Bean out in the hinterland?
The ONLY answer is MILITARIZATION of the border. Fences, barbed wire, land mines, machine guns and the willingess to shoot to kill anyone in No Man’s Land.
20 years ago, this might not have been necessary. Today it’s gotten so far out of hand that nothing less will do.
American Judges? I doubt it would stop there.
I doubt a serious effort would be made to stop it until members of Congress find their and their family members names topping those hit lists.
Hoping it won’t come to that, but considering the danger the very few uncorrupted officials face inside those countries, when America deteriorates that far, we will have lost all hope for recovery.
