Please remind me....the reason why we are supposed to regard these statements as coming from "The Religion of Peace" is what, excatly?
Why convert? Our women pop birth control pills like candy, homosexuality is trendy, we abort 1/3 of the babies that DO get conceived, sterilization is the most popular means of long-term birth control...Islam does not HAVE to stomp out Christianity or the western peoples by force — Islam will win by default.
We have an alternative - fight them.

Agreed on all counts. I wish that I was younger...I would enlist in the military in a heartbeat in order to fight these barbarians. Our entire culture is under attack, both from the Islamofascists as well as various groups within Western culture. We are fighting for our lives, yet so many are not taking this war seriously.

The context of this famous statement is something Muhammed wants said to the Jews, to help convince them convert. In the very next paragraph he says to his followers words-to-the-effect of "If they don't convert we're going to kill them all"
The shia Muslims forget that the global south is going through a growth period in the spread of the Christian faith, so these folks are simply are in deniel that the Gospel of Jesus is going out.
