Rudy Giuliani has released a list of 125 New Hampshire leaders and activists he claims are backing his candidacy - but a few of them say they never pledged their support. We take our endorsements very seriously," Wendy Stanley Jones, named on the list as a state co-chair of Women for Giuliani, said yesterday. "I wasn't ready to endorse. I'm not sure I will be endorsing......" Others have also complained of being mistakenly included. The Giuliani campaign called it a mix-up........New Hampshire hosts the first-in-the-nation primary.....experts said the race was still wide open. Giuliani is battling for votes with Sen. John McCain, who carried NH in the 2000 GOP primary. Former Mass Gov. Mitt Romney has ties to the Granite State.

A case of Rudy "using" people to advance his political ambitions---trying to make himself look good at the expense of others.

BTW, how about Rudy's list of campaign donors? Somebody oughta check that, too. Now, in the case of his donors, you can bet Rudy would like to keep hidden from public view, the names of his financial backers. Releasing the actual names of his moneymen would tipoff voters as to who wants this liberal in office, and who is whispering policy statements into his good ear.

Makes one wonder if all those Evangelical consecrative’s that are supposedly so crazy about Rudy, are just a vision!

Remember when the Giuliani supporters were claiming to have the early support of the “Reagan Republicans”? Now look who the former Reagan people are actually backing: Fred Thompson!

Also stupid of Rudy. Didn’t he expect them to speak out? I don’t see how it could be a mixup.

Good point. They want to rally the party. I can think of no better way of doing that and fighting the left!

Precisely. Goes to show the lisping liberal's arrogance and sense of entitlement. They endorse him b/c HE SAYS SO.

LOL.... The Presidency of the US being the ultimate job on this planet, I expect to see performed whatever it takes to convince/deceive as many voters as possible to win that title.

That is why candidates need ‘war’ rooms collect that data to appear as through ‘Divine’ providence they are the chosen one. Liberals have never been shy about taking their campaigns through the church house door even right up to the pulpit.

I suspect that religion will be used as the main method of cleansing up reputations.... Hillry has already a history of invoking Jesus.

Makes you wonder how many evangelicals (Rooty supporters?) are walking around on crutches with busted kneecaps!

Probably the ONLY reason evangelicals would latch onto Rooty----to evangelize to the heathens----to convert all those non-believers in the Rooty camp.

Evangelicals also figure that, in Rooty, they have a direct line to the hordes of unbaptized Mideast types.

Well stated. I don’t know anyone in the Evangelical movement who will accept a pro-abortion candidate, let alone all the other skeletons in Giuliani’s closet. And we know what he keeps in his closet!

N-i-c-e take, JMT.

Rooty's having many "Come to Jesus" moments---reversing, nuancing or denying his past.

He's trying to shake off vestiges of liberalness b/c he knows it's a loser with voters.

That term Evangelical means different things to different people. There was a large segment of voters that would qualify under the usage 'Evangelical' that voted for the Clintons in the 90's and at least some of those same voters and their missionary offspring are in full steam ahead for the Mrs. Clinton.....

Mrs. Clinton is still presenting herself as the pro-war hero, just that the big evil deceivers Cheney/Bush cause her to vote for something she did not know anything about....

Any candidate that is really interested in exposing Hillry could inform the nation that as co-president that would mean that Hillry knew more than even President Bush did regarding terrorism.... remember that solid reinforced wall built from the inside out .... Gorelick....

Hillry has received a complete total pass and always seek for herself the position of never being held accountable for her role as co-president, and seems that will be the case through this election.

"That term Evangelical means different things to different people."

That term "evangelical" as I use it reflects the socially, moral conservative Religious Right pro-life, anto-homosexual agenda movement in most of our churches. It does NOT include the left wing church movement who accept abortion or homosexuality as acceptable. Forgivable, but not acceptable.

Panic at camp Rudy.

The hits keep coming. Here's Rooty's latest snafu.

...Giuliani declared that if a Democrat were to be elected president in 2008, he (or she) would "wave the white flag" in Iraq.........

Oops---looks like Rooty used an OLD campaign playbook----compiled before the Dims took power.

Rooty hasn't heard about the Congressional resolution, yet.

Keep in mind that Rooty Campaign Central tightly controls Rooty's public utterances. Rooty's awfully secretive about actually delivering a solid foreign policy speech in public.

Back in March, JimRob went to Rudy's campaign web site expecting to learn a lot about Rudy's vision for America, his plans for the war and what he's going to do about Iran, Syria, North Korea, etc, and how he's going to cut government, cut spending, cut taxes, etc. Nada. Nothing. JimRob came away with an empty feeling----and commented that the frontrunner is an empty suit running on name recognition only. JimRob wondered with the rest of us what Rudy's qualifications are that make him the BEST man to lead as CIC?

No question, these are critical positions a candidate should certainly provide to voters.

So hang in there, FReepers----the Rooty WOT-whiners are plotting to keep us dumb voters in the dark as long as possible.
