A very bullish CAC 40 is a clear indication of whom the French businesses community desire for the victor in Sunday’s election, and it’s not Royal.
Perhaps the undecided/unsure/uninformed in France see a bigger anti-freedom collective than the socialists, where much more than your economics are enslaved.
Well, there is always Islam...
So the debate is today?
Yeah, it’s in a few hours. 20 million expected to watch in France alone.
IMHO, the French will remember the summer of 2005 and will go to the polls to keep their Country from being annexed to the Middle East.
I doubt if they will ever depart from their socialistic agenda, but I have many French friends who are not going to be on the receiving end of the Let Them Eat Cake reign of Royal.
Time is running out for Sego and she knows it.
Sarkozy will keep his cool, and he will win.
If the idiots who have promised to riot do so, Sarkozy will have his first real test as President very shortly, and it is on precisely the field of battle that it should be. Disperse the racaille with a whiff of grapeshot, and France will change swiftly. It is time, and Sarkozy is the man to do it.
I’m leaving for a week’s vacation in Paris on May 19. Hope things are calm.
Prayers going up. This and the elections in June are crucial to the survival of France. For those haters of France, I say. Reflect on the bravery of the men who saved France from the Germans in 1914. They were the true France.
btt
Don’t make a mistale : French socialists are not lefties, they are communists.
They are both IMO. IMHO, If Royal loses this election, and it looks more likely every day, the Socialist Party will be dead. The Party will break into at least two different camps, one close to Bayrou, a sort of Christian Democrat, Social Democrat Party, and the rest will go off the hard core Left.
I am sure you will have a great time. France is glorious in the Spring. If Sarko wins you will have an even better time.
I'm sure you're right. We've been meaning to visit Paris for years and finally decided to just do it. I can't wait.
She was like the ice goddess.
Did you catch her nasty refusal to give her personal opinion of Sarkozy (when asked by the hosts)after his gracious appreciation of her accomplishments.
She is pretty though, but ‘la bouguotte’ is a bit distracting.
Didn’t see it.
Ce n’est pas vrai!
On était collé à l’écran chez nous.
Moi, je suis collé à lécran aussi...de cet ordinateur...”chez” mon employeur.
Plus de boulot dans le cinéma?
Rien que des boules, malheureusement.
