Would someone explain to me what a unisex wash basin area is or looks like.

My hunch is that instead of separate wash basin areas in each restroom, there will be a single (probably larger) wash basin area at the restroom entrance. The toilet areas would still be segregated and would "share" the hand-washing room.

Some of the boys will probable like this setup - and most of the girls will probably hate it.

At my son's school, the sinks are out in the hallway which is interesting.

So then they can transfer their "dirty" hands to the door handles for all to enjoy and appreciate....where are the towels...in the cafeteria?Idiots!

A row of sink in the hall on the wall space between the doors to the two toilet areas. Some US schools have those.

At my son's school, the sinks are out in the hallway which is interesting.

If that had been the case in Clinton's White House, the course of history might have been different (snicker).

I recently took a walk through my old high school in a fairly wealthy suburb, a town with the proverbial "great school system." There were no doors on any of the stalls, just as when I was in high school. I don't know if the kids tore them off or what, but there haven't been doors on the stalls for at least 25 years now.

They have added shiny chrome plates over the sinks to replace the glass ones that were constantly smashed.

Take a walk through your great school system sometime. You never know what you'll find.

Also, there was an earth flag hanging from the ceiling of the gym, and no American flag.
