Mormons have a problem with the Book of Mormon, which they claim is the most perfect book ever written. Have not heard a good explanation why the most perfect book ever written has had over 3000+ substantive changes over almost two centuries and the Bible has had none.

Mormonism is clearly a cult.

They also have a problem by claiming to now be “Christian” like orthodox Christian denominations, which they have always said were apostate. If the Mormon church is now trying to be accepted within evangelical Christianity, has the Mormon church become apostate? I know some serious Mormons who question the LDS church in this regard.

I don't have a problem with Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon. He can believe anything he wants, as a person. I have a problem with someone credulous enough to believe in Mormonism as President.

Surely you joke...I can go to the bookstore this afternoon and get you several different versions of the Bible. Religion is the opium of the people, my friend. And it sounds like there are a bunch of people here who claim to have better opium than everyone else. In fact, one addict is no better than another.

Not going to say anything about this other than I had a Mormon roommate in college for about two months and lived for awhile about a block from a Mormon temple. All I need to know about Mormonism I learned in those two experiences. They are what they are and I do not see how it can be branded as a Christian faith.

I hold no ill will towards Mormons and a person's belief system should not be subject for discussion in political campaigns, unless that belief system would come into contrast with how they would govern if elected would be against my political belief system (i.e. voting for those who would desire to legislate state issues at the federal level under the auspices of morality).
