I have an 11 month old granddaughter that lives at home (my daughter is military)so it hits home for me as well.
This is far more than incompetence or stupidity. This was an intentional act on the parents part. The’ve elevated their own Vegan lifestyle to a religion and put it clearly ahead of their childs health.
There isn’t a single Doctor that would recommend their course of feeding for an infant, In fact, had they taken the child to a doctor he would have turned them in for child abuse and the child would be alive today.

They did not intend to kill the baby and if they had only been stupid they would have taken the kid to the doctor when it had lost 20% of their weight (probably two weeks on the moron diet). If a doctor saw this kid he should lose his license!
Vegans can be extremely selfish, thinking everyone should adhere to their dietary choice. I've seen vegans wanting to put their pet ferrets on a vegan diet -- and ferrets are pure carnivores!
