Absolutely. I’d rather run a mile in the mountains at 90 degrees with a 40 lb pack than walk around the block in the heat and humidity of the deep south.

I suppose a lot of it depends upon the climate and elevation you’re used to. I hosted a group of cycling friends from Milwaukee up in the hills here (~9000 ft) who challenged this old fat fart to a footrace up a hill. For beer. Winner’s choice. LOL. They all petered out about a hundred yards up. Oxygen, don’t leave home without it. The Samuel Adams was wonderful.
