BTW, some of the posters here on FR are acting as if this book is the communist manifesto or some other political rag. This is a SF book and has nothing to do with his politics or religion. Thank the Lord this country is still free enough that we can read what we want and enjoy it. Anyone who thinks this is a bad mark against him needs their head examined.

Just for the record I am a Fred Thomson/Duncan Hunter(either will do) fan myself but can't see making a bid deal out of this. Dems are absolutely bonkers and so are any republicans that think he is terrible for his choice in light reading!
