In the United States, children under age 4 are more likely to die from abuse and neglect than from any other cause, including accidents and childhood illnesses. In Massachusetts, which has the lowest number of fatalities from child maltreatment in the country, the number of child abuse and neglect cases is the third highest in the United States, according to information provided by the Massachusetts Children’s Trust Fund.
Every day, more children become statistics. In the past few weeks alone, a 3-month-old baby and a 2-year-old boy from Fitchburg were badly injured at the hands of others. The toddler suffered burns over about 50 percent of his body in March, when his 17-year-old mother’s teenage boyfriend allegedly intentionally poured steaming hot water over the child’s head. In April, police allege, the father of the 3-month-old, while under the influence of heroin, broke the child’s left arm in four places. The child also had bloody needle pricks and bruises on both feet, authorities said.
Because of the state’s high number of child maltreatment cases, and a particularly shocking 2005 case in which 11-year-old Haleigh Poutre was beaten into a coma allegedly by her adoptive parents, the state Legislature recently formed the House Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect. The committee’s report, released March 27, recommends several changes in the way the state deals with the problem.

In a way he got away with it twice -- or else the slowest murder on record: 15 years!
Our visitors studiously avoid the subject, but there is no innocent explanation for Terri's so-called "collapse." But the whole logic of the case depends on the cause of her injuries. If it was not innocent, you can multiply all the claims of judicial misconduct by a hundred. The Greer Court actually protected a murderer and completed his murder for him!
What did happen to Terri? The gods of Evolution are particularly kind to young females of prime breeding age. Young women simply do not just wake up in the middle of the night and keel over dead. They really have only two enemies -- their husbands/boy friends; and automobiles -- in that order. The #1 cause of injuries and deaths in young women is domestic violence. Domestic violence, then, must be ruled out before we look to any other causes. (As it happens, we can easily rule out nine of the top ten causes of serious injuries and death to young women. Which leaves ONLY domestic violence.)
In this book, Cheryl Ford RN and Jan Craddock MD give us the original source material that the media ignored -- because it is damning to Michael Schiavo and his lawyers and judge friends. It's impossible to get a fair and accurate view of the case without accounting for these facts.
Here's a deal for you. I'll donate twenty bucks to Darwin Central if you can give me a coherent, innocent explanation of Terri's "collapse" that fits all the known facts. How did Terri, who was in bed asleep, suddenly end up on a hallway floor, in cardiac arrest, completely unresponsive, and suffering massive anoxic ischemic encephalopathy, along with a broken back, rib fractures and a bone bruise on her right thigh -- right after Michael got home late one Saturday night?
The thing that always got me was how the media could say that Terri was "brain dead" one minute and then claim that she was experiencing "euphoria" the next. Someone who is actually brain dead CANNOT FEEL ANYTHING.

It reminds me of Greer's order that she wouldn't be allowed to attempt nutrition orally. It reads that she can't swallow, to she can swallow, but she can't swallow enough so why try.

FYI: AMBIEN is waking up people in pvs, etc. In addition, AMBIEN is helping people w/autism. Ambien is a sleep aid but is waking people up.
