I have to agree! I had always wanted a cat as a little girl. Because I had several allergies, especially bad hayfever, and we didn't have pets growing up, we didn't realize just how allergic I was till I was older. I was so disappointed when my cat allergy was confirmed.
I had for so many years just written off any idea of a cat because my allergies to cats are particularly bad (but not dogs oddly enough). That's a little more than I can afford for a pet at this time, but it's nice to know I have an option! (I'll start a cat fund!) The Siberians on Martha's show were just beautiful and she had all the info - good pets, good with kids, kind of low maintenance as cats go. Sites I googled had similar good points.

I used to put clothes on my cats and they would lay in my doll buggy until I undressed them. I think they hated it.

I caught it by accident, happy accident! Not to worry, Martha's site is extremely high tech! Here is a link to the episode on
unusual cat breeds, there is also a link to the video of the episode! The
manhattancats site has more info.
