Pres Reagan said he would sign the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act into law if it stipulated tough employer sanction provisions. Reagan got his way. IRCA included tough employer sanctions and up to a million dollar fine against any employer hiring illegals. In 1987 Ted Kennedy gutted those enforcement provisions after the Senate was back in the hands of the Dems. Leading to 20 years of liberal immigration policy from Bush41 to Bush43. BTW, the IRCA of 1986 is still a law on the books.
I'm not advocating mass deportation either, but I agree with Dobbs, if could be done. We might have some civil unrest, but its doable. Better yet, secure the borders, enforce employer sanctions and stop all welfare handouts to illegals. Build that wall and protect America, NOW!
