I know I am going to be blasted for this, but I think he should get it. He is running for President (we already had one President get killed and one shot). Two, IF he was truly threatened than for sure he should get it. If not, then he should be charged for lying.
He’s going to look a lot more Presidential with secret service following him around. This could be a big break for him.
Not against protection, but the DNC has plenty of money to provide protection for all their candidates until around the time of the GE.
