I strongly disagree. What does “you are what you are” mean? Especially in a political context. Mikes view is not conservative by any definition. I have yet to hear any defense of the “Savage” attack on conservatives.

Truth be known, I really don’t care about Savage. But his comments divide the conservative movement. That’s bad. I’m not sure what unites the Savage movement, don’t really care. But anything that divides us, weakens us. What is this nonsense? Where has Savage attacked ANY aspect of conservatism? Attacking big government Republicanism and those fellow conservatives who carry water (shill) for it is not attacking conservatism.
Republicanism is dividing conservatism, not Savage. Conservatives who carry water for big-government Republicanism do none of us conservatives any favor and Savage should be commended for being one of the few willing to continually point that out.
