The really sobering lesson of the 20th Century is that some civil wars can grow into more than just regional wars....
That is the intent of the Iranians....unless they are allowed to acquire what they desire....

AQIR's days are numbered. The tide has changed. And now they have everyone against them. No place to hide, no place to run other then make their way out of the country. We shall be seeing few new recruits trying to make their way into Iraq via. Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
The gig is up for them. Only those that cannot escape will attempt to hide and carry out future suicide missions. We have to expect this for a few months or more. Anyone can sit still in some hole in the ground if they have sufficient food and water, and await for some signal to blow themselves up in a given place.
But it sure looks like their day in the sun is now over.

They cannot do anything to prevent the Iraqi Sunni tribes from signing up with the US and Iraqi forces to wipe out al Qaeda in Iraq.
The Sunni tribes know who is running this war, and it taint Pelosi and crew.

Nope. When Al Qaida of Iraq is done, we will have to deal with the remaining Sunni nationalists, and Al Sadr’s Mahdi Army.
