This is good news. But I wish that someone other than Jon Bruning were challenging Hagel in the GOP primary.

I love good news in the morning, this has made my day.
If Hagel does run for reelection I'm sure Joe Bruning could use some help in his campaign against him.

The most surprising result is that Hagel's disapproval rating is highest among independents at 58%. Among Democrats, 53% approve of his job performance and 42%, while among Republicans, 36% approve and 47% disapprove. In other words, the Democrats love him. But the people who elected him hate his guts.
What ticket is Hegel planning to run on?

Looks like Hagel can wind up being Bloomberg’s running mate on the Independent ‘Let’s Elect Hillary’ ticker.

Will be interesting if Hagel even runs for reelection. He was sighted recently with Bloomburg; whom many think might also run. Hagel has zero chance at the GOP nod, but more than a few wealthy folks like Bloomburg might help back an indy run. If thinks he is toast in Nebraska he might try and go out by burning down any chance the GOP has at the white house.

Hmmmm. I feel a ‘Daschle in 04’ moment approaching for this knucklehead, Chuck Hagel.
