If Fred Thompson gets in ( he will ) will they be giving USSS protection to J. C. Watts ? It has been rumored that he would be a likely pick for Thompson’s VP. Rumors don't count. Thompson has no protection now, but if he declares, then he will. If J.C. Watts were to declare, he too would get protection.
Even though the 'Rats would like to make it about race, the SS does not.

Thompson has no protection now, but if he declares, then he will. Since when? I've never known candidates to receive SS protection until they were the nominee.

Osamma Obamma Yomamma has SS protection far earlier than anyone who has ever ran for POTUS. They normally don’t get it until they get the nomination.
