“despite the Tehran government’s insistence that it is working to help bring stability to its neighbor Iraq.”

I also find this to be the most important issue facing our troops, since they have no problems in face offs with an enemy. We never learn the lessons of the past.
We need to strike a couple of cities in iran - like Reagan did with Ghaddafi. Not initiate a major war or battle, but sting ‘em hard, targeting a few of the imams and perhaps family members of nutjob. Just enough to say, “We’ve marked Iraq as our territory and you get the hell out.”
I want to see a headline ‘Iran bomb factories targeted for destruction’,
any country supplying an enemy should have it’s capabilities neutralize.
There are staging areas across the border that should be destroyed to make the point that there is no safe harbor.
I would like to hear the rationale for not doing this.
"if you harbor terrorists, you are just as guilty as the terrorists; you're an enemy of the United States, and you will be held to account.
I think theres some "holding to account" that's overdue.
