It makes no economic, or environmental, or business sense but is politicallly correct. Jeb Bush and the President of Brazil will make billions off their business deals to have Brazil supply the government mandated (by president bush) ethanol.
Anyone who doesn't see the corruption in this arrangement is blind.

Let the Brazilians make some dollars importing ethanol while we see just what the impact is. Sounds like a sound capitalist experiment.
