Democrats plan the last 7 years

Posted on 05/05/2007 3:09:07 PM PDT by jyro

This was the subject of Hillary's senior thesis at Wellesley College

Saul Alinsky quoting Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky

"They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."

this is the guiding light of modern democrats, IMHO

Democrats have been doing exactly this statement in the media as well as most every speech to the public in the last 7 years to regain their power. The liberal media aids them in their efforts. This one statement explains why Democrats are acting like America is bad, to convince the public that America is flustrated, defeated, powerless and vote for Democrats that you can't stand on the chance it will be better, when , the truth is, it's not bad at all, economy is great, we are winning the war, we are near having a missle shield, we have a all volunteer military, more people that ever own homes, there is next to no unemployment, the air is cleaner now than it has been in 20 years, ect.

How do you like the vagueness of the words? What do they mean?

Like Rush says, if people really knew what was on their minds, they wouldn’t vote for them in a million years.

No matter how bad the democRATS get, there is a certain percentage of kool-aid drinking citizens that will vote for them (~43%).

“They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution.”

It almost worked flawlessly....cutting Nixon off at the knees through today......Reagan and Gingrich slowed it down.

Come on. Democrats aren’t trying to convince people that the country is going to crap, people can see that with their own two eyes. What the dems are trying to do is exploit that knowledge, not create it.

A large part of that 43% are decent human beings who have a major blind spot as to what the RATs are really up to.

I have a number of friends who vote RAT every election. The problem is, they listen to ABC-NBC-CBS-PBS-CNN-NPR, and occasionally flip through Newsweak-Time-NYTimes-WashingtonPost-BostonGlobe-LATimes. They are oblivious to the forces at work, and when you try to enlighten them they think it's some VRWC smear that they've been warned about.

I'm making a little progress, inch by inch, but it is amazing how oblivious these otherwise good people are to the real direction of their party. It's a fascinating aspect of human psychology to continue believing what you've been told even when everything you see, hear, touch, feel, and smell contradicts it.

Well, we've elected a democrat congress but that doesn't mean the rest of the country is going to the dogs.

And in this, is the winning strategy for a conservative candidate in 2008. SHOW THESE COMMIE/SOCIALIST anti-Americans FOR EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE — EXPOSE THEM to the mindless. Yes, the kool-aid drinkers are hopeless - they would vote for Joseph Stalin if he were running. But there is a middle group that is up for grabs for a fighting, say-it-like-it-is candidate. WE CAN WIN with the right fighter that will EXPOSE THESE PINKO SOCIALISTS AND THEIR REPRESSIVE AGENDA.

Holy cow what a jerk. Most here are missing her point- what she is saying is you have to RE-WRITE the past the way you want it, to make people so hopeless they will swallow any crapola you feed them. (revolution??)

What a sickening premise for guiding sheeple. Make people so unhappy so you can change them to fit your ideals? OMG what a monster woman.

Mr K.
Billary never spoke those words as far as I know. She based her senior thesis at Wellesley College on Saul Alinsky.
Alinsky quoted Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky.

I feel like democrats adopted this stance and it explains the democratic party leaders stance today as I see it.
I as many other have wondered why the Democrats try to show America as bad as possible in all speeches and this explains their reasons.
