HEREFORD — Presidential candidate and U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo told supporters gathered at a private ranch here Friday that American culture, as well as the fate of western civilization, is being threatened by illegal immigration.
“This is so much bigger than the cost (of illegal immigration) to our schools, and other issues like that that we know are true,” Tancredo told the crowd of approximately 150 people assembled at a fund-raising barbecue hosted by Glenn Spencer, head of the civilian border watch group American Border Patrol.

At at a Border Patrol Stop in Arizona, about 200 miles from Campo, CA, the Border Agent stopped us and asked “Do you Serve with Minutemen?” Kingfish said yes, and he asked “With the Campo Minutemen?” Guess we are known up and down the border.
The cook out was awesome!
Glenn Spencer who owns 100 acres at the border and has been a “Minuteman” for 15 years hosted and talked about his ongoing projects. He is best known for using his plane to Patrol but is also using cameras, sensors and is starting a horse back patrol.
Joe Ramos was there. The warden is upset with all the mail he is getting! He was told he will not be moved to a lower security facility “until the publicity dies down.”
In attendance:
American Freedom Riders, Campo Minuteman, Riders Against Illegal Immigration, Tombstone “Shoot Out at Ok Corral” cast and many Arizona Minutemen.
Tancredo would be terrific in charge of Homeland Security.

I met Tom Tancredo a few times. He's a good man and a patriot. A proven conservative, a true Reagan conservative --- strong on defense, limited govt, tax reform, pro-life. We need more like him to stand up for America.
Duncan Hunter who had the San Diego Fence built and wrote the bill and was signed to continue it to TX.
Started the petition with over 90 co sponsors to encourage the pardon of the Border agents.
Part of his Dist. by the Mexican border.
To bad Tancaedo doesn’t support the Hunter who has been doing not just talking.
Tancredo is a solid pro-American conservative, we’ll see how he does in the primaries. He’s far above and better than the Julie McRommney candidates that the media has already decided will win the nomination.
I support Hunter for president.

I’m a supporter of Hunter myself at this point. If he wins maybe Tancredo can be part of his administration as head of Homeland Security.
Ditto that. Don't know about Tank's chances of being elected; but I did see some damn fine Americans in those pictures and can only assume that they stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night. Carry on.
