Doolittle is my congressman and I voted for him, reluctantly. He represents the most conservative county in California (Placer), yet he nearly lost to a democrat who is a member of the ACLU. I hope is bows out so a new Republican candidate can come in and save this district from going to the dims. His only interest seems to to be to save his job.
