Buffett Fields Shareholder Questions (Pro Planned Parenthood)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 5/6/2007 | KAREN RICHARDSON

Mr. Buffett also defended his charitable contribution to organizations that support women's reproductive rights, such as Planned Parenthood. "Men set the rules for a lot of years, and I think it's wonderful that women can make reproductive choices," Mr. Buffett replied, as shareholders applauded and cheered. "I think it's a terrific organization," Mr. Buffett added, referring to Planned Parenthood. "I really think it's too bad that for millenia, women not only in the U.S. but all over the world, have had involuntary bearing of babies."

Buffet hasn't just given to "Planned Parenthood Human Butchery", he was instrumental in starting up a company to make the equipment that can both chop and suck out babies from their mother's wombs.

Before him, no medical company dared ruin their reputation by making such barbaric tools.

I am confused at how such an astute capitalist can support socialist, communist and even anarchist ideals.

I believe George Soros could be called an astute capitalist as well.

Buffett is living proof that a person can be a financial genius and simultaneously an idiot.

Like a lot of men obsessed with abortion, Buffett divorced his wife to marry a younger thing. Abortion, as he says, is about freedom and convenience—his.

Eternal payback could be a real bummer.

Just a little reminder that anyone owning this man's stock is helping tear unborn children limb from limb. He's really enthusiastic about abortion; none of this fake "keep it legal, safe and rare". I didn't know that he even makes the torture and killing machinery. I bet he doesn't believe that "as you sow, so shall you reap" - aka as the law of karma!

“Like a lot of men obsessed with abortion, Buffett divorced his wife to marry a younger thing.”

I don’t agree with his stand on abortion, but Buffett was a widower of 76 when he married the “younger thing” who herself was 60 at the time.

I really think it's too bad that for millenia, women not only in the U.S. but all over the world, have involuntary decided to have sex and not be responsible for the consequences.

I grew up around Omaha, and Buffet is not a good man. He is very much into population reduction and such things.

This past weekend at the annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder meeting, I am the “shareholder” that has been cited in a litany of articles, referencing my questioning Mr. Buffet’s support and funding of Planned Parenthood when shareholders were given the opportunity to ask questions directly to Mr. Buffet and Mr. Munger.
As an avid investor and long-time admirer of Warren Buffet, it took courage to stand up with my 11 year old daughter at my side in front on 27,000 people in the Quest Center and confront my fallen hero about his support for Planned Parenthood. Our mission was two-fold. First, as Mr. Buffet’s said in part at this meeting, “Pick your heroes carefully...it is a very difficult for a person to overcome when a hero lets you down so pick your heroes wisely”, I was hopeful that Mr. Buffet hadn’t fully appreciated the evil practices of Planned Parenthood. I recently investigated Mr. Buffet’s foundations, which among other things assists in funding population control/abortion and is one of the leading supporters of Planned Parenthood. Second, my impression is that Mr. Buffet is attempting to “fly under the radar” by hiding behind the Gates Foundation as a vehicle to avoid this lighting rod for public criticism, which let’s be frank, is bad for business. With innocent children being murdered everyday, we need your help keeping this story alive. Thank you for your support and being the mouthpiece for the innocent, who cannot defend their fundamental right to life. Any help you can offer in reaching out to other news agencies will be greatly appreciated in efforts of further exposing this unprecedented and record setting funding to an organization that is killing our culture, decency and children. Although I was criticized by some media and booed at the meeting, it was well worth it when my 11 year old daughter said, “Daddy I am very proud of you of standing up there and speaking about what we believe.”.

They’re all into population control. As though less humans will solve all the world’s problems. Note that it’s always “other” humans.

They want to reduce other people because of their world view. You know - “Take care of the Earth - it’s our only home!” The ulitmate utilitarian, utopian, materialist viewpoint. So they want a nice, clean planet with less people so that their lives will be nicer, cleaner and the view will be better.

My world view, and that of many theists, is that this planet (and all others) with ALL of its inhabitants belong to the One by Whose energy they were created. Therefore we should view ourselves as caretakers, respecting the Owner and Creator, and know that everything is not ours, merely loaned to us for a while. And that the earth is NOT our only home. There is another kingdom, an eternal realm that is our real home.

These people actually hate humanity, unless humanity can serve their will. Envy of the real owner.

I also figured out why the Global Warming people fear it so much and don’t even mention (or barely mention) so many other real dangers: they don’t believe in hell, but unconsciously they’re afraid of it, so it’s the “hot” thing that scares them. Not joking at all! I was contemplating - why this insane focus on global warming when there are so many REAL environmental problems?

It’s the fear of a hot place!

Buffett was a widower of 76 when he married the “younger thing” who herself was 60 at the time.

Technically true, but it's weirder than either of us thought, according to wikipedia. I think Buffett's history bears out the close connection between fornication and abortion:

"Buffett married Susan Thompson in 1952. They had three children, Susie, Howard, and Peter. The couple began living separately in 1977, though they remained married until her death in July 2004.

"On his 76th birthday Buffett married his longtime companion, Astrid Menks, who had lived with him since his wife's departure. Interestingly, it was Susan Buffett who arranged for the two to meet before she left Omaha to pursue her singing career. All three were close, and holiday cards to friends were signed 'Warren, Susie and Astrid' (as per Roger Lowenstein's book, Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist)."

The expression "bloodless weirdo" comes to mind.
