What a load. Does anybody - anybody - truly believe that anything in Russia was immune from government interference between 1917 and 1991?

Yeah, this is BS! When Igor Kurchatov was building the USSR's first atomic bomb (JOE-1), he was living under an open ended death threat. And I'm sure that Andrei Sakharov would also have a thing or two to say about this preposterous claim as well...
