I’ve inderectly dealt with this maniac before. He is an overt terrorist — nothing more nothing less.
You first Paul. The departure of 3.5 billion people begins with you. Set the example.

“We need to radically and intelligently reduce human populations to fewer than one billion” I assume radically mean something akin to a final solution. So kill off a few billion people to save the snail darter!

This harkens back to reading Clancys Rainbow Six.
Wow, the way people reference Clancy around here, you'd think his books did something like predict the use of jetliners as terrorist suicide weapons or something.....

Yes, but think of the benefits. Wider lanes! Swim the East River without any crowds!

· Sea transportation should be by sail. The big clippers were the finest ships ever built and sufficient to our needs. Air transportation should be by solar powered blimps when air transportation is necessary.
<<
Busybody who don’t have to live with the cost of their demand are happy to tell us what would be good for us.
As a pilot of almost 40 years, I can say that converting to blimps will reduce air travel to novelty sightseeing trips. Blimps are hard-pressed to make 120 knots, a speed that would make a NY - LA trip last several days. But blimps can’t do weather, they can’t do any weather at all. They can’t be brought near to the ground in any high wind and they absolutely cannot stand any freezing precipitation, like the kind that lingers for days at a time (sometime weeks) over the entire northeast US in the late fall and early winter.
Blimps, at least as historically configured, also cannot navigate fronts. On just about any day of the year a coast-to-coast flight, or even one covering a sufficient region, will have to transit at least one active front.
Do we think it will advance humanity to force everyone back on Amtrak? I don’t think so.

We need to stop flying, stop driving cars, and jetting around on marine recreational vehicles. The Mennonites survive without cars and so can the rest of us. How much ya want to bet that he owns a car.
What's his suggestion? How about we all ride around on on one of these scooters. This seems like ideal transportation in Wisconsin winter.
This guy's a moron even moreso than Algore and I didn't think that would be possible.

The Frankie character on Saturday Night Live said it best.

Sea transportation should be by sail. The big clippers were the finest ships ever built and sufficient to our needs. How do you land a plane or chopper on one of them?

Too dangerous to risk letting him off himself (and “only” himself) and it sets a bad precident for sanctioned suicide. Give him a state sanctioned death sentence for his plot of global massacre.
